Ministry: 150,000 Visitors to Israel During Pesach

elalAccording to Tourism Ministry estimates, about 150,000 visitors are expected to arrive in Israel for Pesach and the Easter period.

Within the framework of routine inspections carried out by the Tourism Ministry, inspections have taken place in various tourism sites around the country. These inspections show that the sites checked are indeed prepared to welcome visitors during this busy period. The inspections focused on cleanliness, the level of maintenance, operations, accessibility for tourists with disabilities, toilets and signage, among others. The inspections were also carried out in cities that are expected to welcome increased visitor traffic over the holiday period, including Yerushalayim, Nazareth, Tiveria, Haifa, Tel Aviv, Dead Sea and Eilat.

The land crossings (Allenby, Rabin, Jordan River and Taba) will be open as normal during the intermediate days of Yomtov.

The Tourism Ministry offices will be open, as normal, in Jerusalem, Nazareth, Eilat and Ben-Gurion airport, offering information to tourists and Israeli holidaymakers on events, festivals, tours, attractions etc.

  1. What our community needs to do is boycott the Israeli government with our money by not going there and investing there until they annul the draft. Thats the only language they understand. We need a grassroots movement to send the message to these arrogant people that the Torah is not for sale.

  2. #4- Perhaps even more common sense would be for every frum person to make aliyah and vote. Wait. What am I saying? Why would anyone make aliyah to a treifeneh medina? Too much of a risk. Better to stay in America and criticize from here….
