Drowning in Satmar Mikva in Bnei Brak


ichudIchud Hatzalah on Tuesday, 6 Iyar 5773 responded to a drowning call in a Satmar mikva in Bnei Brak located on Yismach Moshe Street. The first responders pulled the elderly victim from the water and began treating him. According to the report, he was transported to a hospital in “stable” condition. No additional details are available at this time.

  1. Is it really true that the other Jews at the mikveh left him under the water until the first responders arrived as the article implies? My guess is that the facts in the article are incorrect.
