After completing studies and exams, 286 bnei Torah last week took part in a festive event in Jerusalem�s Inbal Hotel. They received semicha from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel, ???? ???? from Chief Rabbi Yonah Metzger. The newly appointed rabbonim studied in ???? ????? ??????, headed by HaRav HaGaon Yosef Eliyahu Shlita, a son of late Rishon L�Tzion Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu ZT�L. The students were tested in their proficiency in Halacha in the laws of

???, ????? ?????, ????, ???????, ?????, ???? ????????, ???????, ????? ??”?, ????? ??????? ????, ????? ??????,????? ???????, ???? ?????? ????.

In addition, some of the students present were certified as dayanim as they also completed Eban Ezer and Choshen Mishpat.

Among the prominent rabbonim present were Chief Rabbi Metzger, Tzfas Chief Sephardi Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu, and Rabbi David Kaduri.
