Immigration Authority officials arrived at the Mir Yeshiva in the Beis Yisrael area of Yerushalayim. The inspectors arrived on Tuesday evening 20 Iyar 5774 in search of illegals working in the yeshiva.

20 workers were detained as inspectors reviewed their documentation. Two of the workers who did not have valid permits hid. They came out however before the inspectors left, believing that they had gone. They were taken into custody.
