Homefront Command officials are extremely concerned over residents becoming too confident in the Iron Dome.
In the last waves of rockets aimed at Ashkelon for example, the siren is heard and the firing of the Iron Dome is seen live on the TV news. One sees many residents remaining outdoors to view and video the intercept.
IDF officials warn the Iron Dome is not fool proof and chas v’sholom they may be outdoors when one rocket impacts in the area. As the siren is reported on TV, one sees the Iron Dome intercept and the now familiar while clouds that appear when the rockets collide. Too many residents no longer view the incoming rockets as life-threatening and this has IDF commanders concerned.
