�Our prayers go out to Levi Yitzchok ben Reizel, the Jewish student injured in yesterday�s attack in the Chabad-Lubavitch synagogue at 770 Eastern Parkway, and we continue to pray for his speedy recovery.

�I have nothing but high praise for the officers of the New York Police Department, for responding swiftly and apprehending the suspect in this horrific crime.

�While this was an isolated incident by a perpetrator with a troubled history, I have been in communication with the 66 Pct. and have been assured that they are taking additional measures to insure safety and security throughout the district.�
