The latest Channel 2 News election poll shows the Labor/The Movement ticket emerging the victors in the elections with 25 seats. While the latter may actually earn the most votes, it does not guarantee Labor will succeed in building a coalition. This was the case in the past when Tzipi Livni earned more votes that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu but after she was unable to form a coalition, the presidential mandate was turned over to Netanyahu.

Same result as at present. Likud can form a government with with the hareidim or the center parties. Labor can form a government but it will need Hareidim, Arabs and’/or Right-wing parties (two out of three).
