If you answered yes, you’ll want to learn more about a new program organized at Montage Mountain Ski Resort in Scranton, Pennsylvania, that offers discounted tickets and delicious kosher meals.

Located less than two hours drive from the George Washington bridge, the family-friendly ski resort offers 26 professionally groomed trails, from beginners to advanced, a modern rental shack that provides skis or snowboards and professionally-led group lessons every two hours to help you learn or improve your skills.

Montage Mountain also has the longest and fastest tubing trails in the region. The snow-tubing park is fun for all ages, and features 10 trails of downhill excitement that are each 800 feet long. The hill is serviced by a “Magic Carpet” lift which gives tubers a swift return to the top of the snow-tubing park.

After hours of clean, healthy fun on the mountain, relax and enjoy a delicious glatt-kosher dinner at the Four Points Sheraton – just minutes from the slopes. An extensive buffet featuring hearty soups, fresh salads and hot meat/chicken dishes will rejuvenate and recharge skiers.

Want to stay overnight? Enjoy special rate of $84 at the Four Points Sheraton. Start your day with a hot breakfast before heading out to the mountain. All meals are glatt kosher, pas yisroel, cholov yisroel and made fresh by a culinary team.

Organized by Chabad of Northeastern Pennsylvania, the Kosher Ski Program offers heavily discounted tickets and catered kosher meals on each Sunday during the ski season. Full-day lift: $35, with ski or board rental $48, with a group lesson $55. All-day snow-tubing pass is only $25, and as an add-on to skiing or boarding only $15. Groups of 10 or more save 10% on already low rates.

Tickets must be purchased in advance. For information about meals and to order tickets online, please visit www.JewishNEPA.com/ski.
