why is it that every picture we have ever seen of rav shlomo zalman he is seen smiling and in every picture we have seen of harav shmuel he looks like tisha bav? Has anyone ever seen harav shmuel with a smile?

What a gelechter! There are no Roshei Yeshiva or Rabbanim of stature present. Front and center we see Rav Markowitz of the Ponevez split-off who has aligned himself with Rav Auerbach in the “we-are-the-true-Rav-Schach-heirs” club. Other tahn that we see Rav Weiss of the Scranton Kollel who has relocated to Yerushalayim where he has three yungeleit instead of two.
Shame on all those who have split away from the Gedolei Yisroel and are propogating the Peleg Yerushalmi for reasons of their own. These people offer no more Torah, Avodah or Gemilas Chasodim. They cannot articulate why this split was necessary. All they can do is mumble about Giyus and say Rav Shteinman is wrong. Yet they ignore the fact that not a single bachur has been forced to go to the army over the past 18 years! They prefer to send bachurim to burn garbages and stage senseless protests. They are against ALL the gedolei Torah and act accordingly.
May Rav Shmuel come to his senses soon and see that he is surrounded by mean-spirited losers who are trying to settle their petty scores using his greatness to legitimize their lowly actions.
Sorry al daas but he’s causing a big churva in the Yeshiva world. Not sure at this point of it matters how big he is.
