[DOWNLOAD IN HIGH-RES BELOW]
This map was created as a visual aid to be used during the seder in order to enhance sipur yetzias mitzrayim. It details the journeys of Yakov Ovinu, Moshe Rabbeinu and Bnei Yisroel in relation to the story of Yetzias Mitzrayim.
As a general note, the information noted on the map is of general nature and according to the information noted in standard chumoshim and other popular seforim. However Jewish historians over the years have argued some of these points. (An example, is the precise position of Har Sinai). On certain fine points of the timeline as well there are various opinions in the Midrash (for example at what age did Moshe Rabbeinu leave Mitzrayim). Here again we have noted the year noted in standard texts on yetzias mitzrayim.
The stork and snake at the bottom of the map and the prison cell on the right hand side (in addition to the other information) are there to entice the children to ask about these symbols. The stories can be found in any midrash on Pesach for example Let my nation go (artscroll) or The Midrash says.
We hope that this map will enrich and enliven your seder.
Wishing all a Chag Kosher Vsomeach.
