On Monday afternoon, Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams honored the NYPD Community Affairs officers in each of Brooklyn�s police precincts at a ceremony in the courtroom of Brooklyn Borough Hall. Adams said the event was intended to advance his ongoing effort to strengthen police-community relations.
He was joined by NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton and City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito, who along with Borough President Adams offered remarks and recognized the hard work of these officers.
Additionally, many of the borough�s precinct commanding officers and precinct community council leaders are in attendance.
