On Monday afternoon, Brooklyn Borough President Eric L. Adams honored the NYPD Community Affairs officers in each of Brooklyn’s police precincts at a ceremony in the courtroom of Brooklyn Borough Hall. Adams said the event was intended to advance his ongoing effort to strengthen police-community relations.
He was joined by NYPD Commissioner Bill Bratton and City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito, who along with Borough President Adams offered remarks and recognized the hard work of these officers.
Additionally, many of the borough’s precinct commanding officers and precinct community council leaders are in attendance.
