French officials apparently have decided to freeze its border to Belgium following the Tuesday morning 12 Adar-II attacks in Brussels. Officials explain the entire EU concept has been predicated on open borders along with peace and security, but it now appears according to some experts that radical Islam has exploited this, possibly bringing an end to this arrangement forever.
There are now growing concerns pertaining to the large number of migrants that have entered European nations. This has significantly increased security concerns as it appears EU leaders are about to make some difficult decisions amid new and growing jihadist terror threats.
French President Francois Hollande was meeting earlier with his Interior Minister.
Fox News reports French’s Prime Minister emphasizes that while the investigation into today’s attacks is ongoing, the priority is treating the wounded and addressing the dead. Fox adds France France has decided to shut the border with Belgium and 1,600 security troops are being deployed at the border, airports and other public areas that may be viewed as potential targets by radical Islamic jihadists.
The Wall Street Journal reports the Brussels Airport is closed until 6:00AM Wednesday morning at the earlier.
