In what police are calling a “criminal and not nationalistic act” in Ashdod, an attacker who appeared ‘visibly Jewish’ attacked a Bedouin man in a parking lot on Atzmaut Street in the city on Thursday morning 7 Teves. According to eyewitness reports, the attacker, who fled, was dressed as a religious Jew.

The victim, in his 40s, was reported in light-to-moderate condition and transported to Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon.

Hospital officials listed his condition as moderate upon arrival in the emergency room.
