Report: Israel Had Nasrallah in its Sights

According to a report released by the Kuwaiti a-Jarida, Israel on two different opportunities had Hizbullah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah in its sights, but the first hit was not carried out because there were children in the area. The report quotes “high-ranking Israeli sources” detailing Israel used a pilotless drone aircraft to track the senior terror leader’s whereabouts.

In the first opportunity, Mossad agents canceled the hit in a Beirut suburb due to the presence of many children while in the second case, in Damascus in February of this year, Nasrallah was visiting President Bashar al-Assad and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, but Mossad agents were unable to carry out the mission.

  1. What’s wrong with killing taf v’noshim? When the Torah commanded destoying Amalek it included all. Everone knows that because Shaul failed to follow this mitzva to the letter caused the birth of haman

  2. There’s a very subtle – or not – difference in authority between a navi’s orders and Gabi Ashkenazi’s orders.

  3. Killing Nasrallah will not accomplish anything. He is readily replaceable. Killing Asad, on the other hand could cause chaos in Syria.
