Ruth Madoff has finally dumped her disgraced hubby in a desperate bid to salvage her relationship with estranged, beloved son, Andrew, a new report says.
Ruth, 70, stopped visiting the 73-year-old Ponzi monster in prison in North Carolina after her other son Mark’s shocking suicide in December — and may finally seek a divorce, said Diana Henriques, author of the biography “Bernie Madoff: The Wizard of Lies,” due out Wednesday.
“Ruth has not seen Bernie since Mark’s suicide, and I think the remnants of the family will now pull together,” Henriques told Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper.
Ruth has been married to Bernie for 52 years — but is reportedly heartbroken after being shunned by Andrew, 44, and his family, particularly after Mark’s death.
They turned her away when she flew from Florida to attend a private memorial service for Mark, 46, at their Greenwich, Conn., home.

WOW it’s about time! I don’t know about any of the other commentators but I would not want to be married to that monster!
Of course, she enjoyed his money all these years, and only now that he was caught, is she publicly decrying him!
Well! At this point she has nothing out of remaining married to him only disgrace to lead her to her grave. At least if she’ll divorce her monstrous jailed husband she has a chance of not losing her family and rebuilding herself a private life. Hope she chooses sensibly.
