Mike Gallagher, known to many in our community as a strong supporter of our values and of Israel, is back on the radio in NY & NJ every weekday morning 9-12 at 970 AM.
Mike Gallagher, had a very popular morning show in NY, back in the 1990’s.
After that his radio career skyrocketed, with his own syndicated radio show, heard daily across the country on hundreds of radio stations.
Now, The Mike Gallagher Show can also be heard in the largest Jewish communities of NY and NJ.
Mike Gallagher is one of the few voices in the media who supports & defends Eretz Yisroel in the strongest way (even more than many Israelis).
His friendship with the Jewish community and his uncompromising public backing of Israel, were highlighted in 1996 when Gallagher broadcast his popular radio show, live from yerushalayim for 5 days. This was just after the exit to the kosel tunnels was opened. The Arabs used that event as an excuse to kill Jews and accuse Israel of wrongdoing throughout the world. The media in America made it sound like Israel was digging under the arabs mosque in an effort to topple the mosque. After Gallagher himself walked through the tunnels, he went on the radio and said straight out – the Arabs are lying. This is years before 9/11. It wasn’t popular to say it back then, but Gallagher did.
He also made a point of going to the Jewish Yishuv in Chevron, giving them chizuk.

While I’m not yet familiar with Mr. Gallagher or his program, this YWN blurb indicates that he’s earned our support.
I wouldn’t say that there are only a “few” voices who “support & defend Eretz Yisroel in the strongest way.” Anyone who’s even remotely familiar with conservative “Talk Radio” certainly knows that the following program hosts are completely supportive of Eretz Yisroel and Torah values in general: Rusty Humphries (who broadcasted live from Eretz Yisroel and devotes quite a bit of time to Israel – always being supportive, Mark Levin, John Bachelor (who has broadcasted live from Eretz Yisroel, even from the Lebanon border – and often appears on the Jewish http://www.talklinecommunications.com programs, pro-Israel conservative African-American Larry Elder, Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Dr. Larua Schlessinger, Michael Savage, Steve Malzberg, Curtis Sliwa, Dennis Prager, Michael Medved (an Orthodox Jew who leads trips of Jews and non-Jews to Eretz Yisroel), Bob Grant, G. Gordon Liddy, Hugh Hewitt, etc. etc.
Certainly more than a few! (All of the above talk radio personalities can be streamed on-line, several can be heard on XM and/or Sirius satelite radio, and some can be heard over the air in various markets throughout the USA.
