Wind, Snow Down Power Lines in NJ

Utility crews were working this morning to restore power to more than 30,000 customers in New Jersey.

Wet snow and strong winds downed tree limbs and power lines, mainly in the northern part of the state Tuesday.

Jersey Central Power and Light says most of its outages are in Morris, Warren, Hunterdon and Sussex counties. The utility hopes to have service restored late this afternoon.
