IDF forces and the ISA thwarted all attempts by Judea and Samaria based terrorist organizations to attack the Israeli Homefront in the past year.  Only five years ago, 62 terrorist attacks were carried out by terrorists based in the region, resulting in 234 deaths.

IDF forces’ operations in the area have resulted in the arrest of wanted operatives and the confiscation of weapons on almost a nightly basis.  In the city of Nablus, which is the region’s capital of terror, 150 weapons were found and seized and hundreds of wanted operatives- some planning to carry our suicide attacks in Israeli territory- were arrested.  IDF operations also seriously damaged the Islamic Jihad infrastructure in northern Samaria, killing nine senior operatives and arresting eleven operatives.
