Jerusalem Police Re-Open Search for Missing Man After 35 Days

More than a month ago Israeli police began a search for Yaakov Yisrael Diskin aged 30 who went missing on September 11th. The Police requested help from the Israeli populace in finding Diskin who was last seen near the Lifta neighborhood in Jerusalem.

After receiving new information regarding his whereabouts, police have announced that they will be reopening the search starting at 8:00 a.m. on Monday morning.

Police have stated that they will open a mobile command center near the Arazim valley in Jerusalem and will once again be searching for Diskin who has been missing for 35 days.

Diskin was last seen wearing a long-sleeve pink shirt with a white collar and long blue pants. He was wearing a kippah. He is described as being 5 foot 7 inches and had a large build, dark hair and blue eyes.

Once again, Police are asking the public to pass along any information that they may have regarding Diskin’s whereabouts and to call police at 100 or at the Lev Habirah Station at 02-539-1550 with any relevant tips.
