European Palestinian Forum Preparing A Flotilla To Break Israel Navy Blockade On Gaza

The “Palestinian Forum” in Europe has announced it is preparing a flotilla that will set sail for Israel in June, intending to challenge the Israel Navy blockade of Gaza.

Hafez al-Karmi, head of the Palestinian Forum in Europe, was interviewed by a Hamas website, announcing plans are underway. According to al-Karmi, multiple ships with different registries will take part in the flotilla, hoping to break the naval blockade around Gaza, arriving in Gaza after the month of Ramadan.

There have been numerous flotillas heading to Gaza over recent years, with the most infamous of them being the Marvi Marmara in 2010, which resulted in the deaths of nine Turkish nationals, the breakdown in relations between Israel and Turkey and Israel paying millions of dollars in reparations to Turkey.

Naval commandos boarded the ship and were told those aboard were unarmed civilians. However, they soon learned this was not true as they came under attack, leaving some seriously wounded.

  1. Do not send naval commandos to board their boats. One warning shot, and then sink them. Anyone breaching this blockade should be sent to sleep with the fish.
