17 Palestinian Terror Suspects Arrested In Yehuda & Shomron; Border Policewoman Injured In Operation [VIDEO]

Counter-terrorism operations take place in areas of Yehuda and Shomron on an almost daily basis. These operations lead to many arrests, of PA (Palestine Authority) residents whom have been involved in terror attacks; are planning attacks; and/or have been involved in violent confrontations against security forces. The arrests of suspects often lead to the gathering of quality intelligence information during questioning, which leads to additional arrests and the prevention of acts of terror.

In these operations on Monday night, IDF soldiers, border police and Shin Bet agents operated in various areas, leading to the arrest of 17 suspects.

in the Deheisha refugee camp in the Beit Lechem area, a border policewoman was injured when a terrorist hurled a firebomb at the force. She was hit in a hand and treated on the scene. B’chasdei Hashem, her injuries are described as light.

The attack was followed by the throwing of additional firebombs and stones at security forces. Non-lethal riot-control means were deployed to distance the rioters. No additional injuries were reported.
