Police Arrest Suspects in Rock Attacks on Jerusalem-Maale Adumim Highway

After a passenger aboard a public bus traveling on the Jerusalem-Maale Adumim Highway was injured earlier this week in a rock-throwing attack, border police launched an operation to apprehend those responsible.

On Wednesday evening, border police arrested three Arab minors suspected of perpetrating rock-throwing attacks, targeting Israeli vehicles on the road.

Undercover policemen situated themselves near the Naomi Shemer Tunnel on the roadway, the site of the recent attacks, leading to the apprehension of the youths. Police report that after questioning the suspects, it appears they were involved in additional attacks at that location. The suspects, East Jerusalem Arab residents’, range in age from 13 to 15.
