In a bold move, Libya�s ambassador to the United Nations demanded an explanation from the United States, Britain, France and other western nations whose representatives walked out of a UN session in protest when the Libyan ambassador compared events in Hamas-controlled Gaza to the atrocities of the Holocaust.

Libya�is standing firmly behind its ambassador and his comparison of Gaza to the Nazi Holocaust, rejecting the western description of Libya�s position as being �immoral�.
