High Court to Rule on Chareidi Draft Petition on Tuesday at Noon

idffThe Movement for Quality Government (MQG) has been tenacious in its effort to compel the draft of bnei yeshivos following the High Court’s disqualification of the Tal Law. The latest petition is on the High Court’s agenda for Tuesday, 14 Elul 5773 at noon. At that time, attorneys for MQG will call upon the court to compel Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon to immediately draft age-eligible chareidim in line with the law.

Despite the fact the new draft law has passed its first reading in Knesset during the summer session, MQG does not wish to wait and it continues efforts to compel the immediate draft of bnei Torah.

  1. Someone pointed out that Mordechai didn’t go around saying, “What a rosho that Haman is!” He went around saying, “Yidden, we have to do teshuva.”

  2. They’re similar to the snakes, like the Gemara says, they have no pleasure in their life if they don’t eat earth.

And like Haman who was just like this, “kol zeh einenu shoveh li” all my money is worth nothing, he said, as long as Mordechai the Jew sits at the king’s gate.
