IDF Lone Soldier From London Thwarts Stabbing Attack

Israeli soldiers shot and killed a Palestinian terrorist who attempted to stab soldiers at a junction near the town of Ariel in the Shomron on Tuesday.

“IDF soldiers spotted a terrorist who attempted to stab two soldiers at an army base near the junction,” the IDF spokesperson stated.

“One of the soldiers blocked the terrorist’s multiple stabbing attacks and an IDF commander at the scene fired toward the terrorist and neutralized him.”

Soldiers surround the neutralized terrorist.

The female soldier targeted in the attack used her rifle to thwart the terrorist as he repeatedly tried to stab her. She was later identified as Corporal Lian Harush, a lone soldier from London serving in the Home Front Command’s Search and Rescue Unit. She was praised for her response by senior IDF officers.

Below, Harush is seen calling her parents in London after the attack to reassure them that she is unharmed.
