On Sunday evening, tragedy struck the North, an anti-tank missile fired from Lebanon hit a vehicle occupied by an Israeli.

The vehicle was near the Shushan military outpost in northern Israel, adjacent to Kibbutz Yiftach, IDF spokesperson in Arabic, Avichay Adraee, sadly confirmed one fatality resulting from the incident.

In response to the rocket attack, the IDF promptly retaliated with artillery fire directed towards Lebanon.

A short while later, there was a direct rocket strike in Kiryat Shemona, with the rocket striking a vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Subsequently, on the same Sunday, rocket sirens reverberated throughout Israel’s northern border towns, including cities like Kiryat Shmona and Metula, heightening tensions in the region.
