Israel: Air Force Fears Moving of Base May Compel Resignations


Israel Air Force officials fear the decision to relocate a base from Lod to Nevatim in southern Israel may compel some career personnel to submit their resignations.

The move they explain will present hardships for many families. In addition to compelling them to relocate air force officials explain, the government has failed to provide employment for many of the family members. Schooling issues for the children of the career personnel have not been addressed.

Nevertheless the air force explains, the career personnel and their families are expected to relocate, a move that may leave them with new uncomfortable realities that air force officials fear may compel some to leave the military.

  1. It makes sense. The ones who would leave are the ones who are not afraid of looking for new positions. The ones who will move are the ones who can find nothing else.
    That will ensure that the quality of the air force personnel, hit below bottom. Just like the current Tzahal, government, and courts. Not to mention the other branches of the government.
    And, let us not forget the high quality teachers in the board of Education, who can only produce killers, thieves, drug users, and other paraphernalia.
