The Hamas terror organization and the Red Cross on Sunday resumed the search for the remains of Ran Gvili, H’yd, in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City, Kan News reported.

According to the report, Israel believes that Hamas has a new lead on Gvili’s burial site.

Hamas leader Khalil al-Hayya confirmed in an interview with Al Jazeera on Motzei Shabbos that “tomorrow Hamas and Red Cross search teams will enter new areas of the Strip that have not yet been searched to look for Gviili.”

Israel has made Gvili’s return a precondition for moving to the second phase of the Trump plan.

His family issued a statement: “Stage A of the hostage deal is not complete as long as Rani has not returned home. We demand that Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Trump pressure Hamas and Islamic Jihad to bring Rani home immediately! We cannot advance to the second stage of the deal until Rani is returned home.”
