Court Sends Federman’s Daughter to Jail

The Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday ruled that a 17-year-old daughter of Noam and Elisheva Federman will be held without bail for spray painting graffiti against IDF Yehuda and Shomron Division Commander Brigadier-General Noam Tivon.

The court initially sentenced the teen to house arrest at her grandmother’s Kiryat Arba home but the defendant told the court she cannot accept a situation in which her grandmother would be under 24-hour lockup as she would be responsible to watch her every move, all because she painted graffiti.

As such, the court ruled she would be held without bail pending the outcome of the graffiti criminal case against her.
