According to IDF military police, a soldier who was lightly injured with a box cutter in a Tuesday attack in Beersheva maintains two men who pulled up in a black vehicle tried to abduct him. He explained he was injured as he fought them off.

The soldier said the two managed to flee after he resisted their efforts to get him into the car.

The soldier was transported to Soroka Medical Center. The investigation continues.
