Attorney General Menachem Mazuz has received a request from Interior Minister Eli Yishai, who is seeking to revoke the citizenship of former Arab MK Azmi Bishara, who officials learned was cooperating with Hizbullah and providing intelligence information against Israel during the Second Lebanon War.

Officials in the attorney general’s office released a statement that due to the sensitivity of the matter, the request demands an in-depth and cautious inquiry.
