Laying a Cornerstone to an Ever-Growing Yerushalayim

Despite American, UN, EU and PA opposition, the atmosphere at the Rosh Chodesh Kislev cornerstone event for the new community of Nof Tzion was a happy one Wednesday, one that was somewhat marred by the pathetic presence of left-wing protestors, who are pained by the sight of a growing Eretz Yisrael, a Jewish Israel.

MK (Likud) Danny Danon was on hand to mark the occasion, calling on the White House to “take its hands off of Jerusalem”, stating the capital belongs to Am Yisrael, plain and simple, and we have the “right to build and raise our families”.

The two dozen or so left-wing protestors opposed the ceremony, insisting it impedes the “peace process”, championing rights and democracy for anyone but Jews.

The cornerstone marks the next stage of constructing another 400 housing units in Yerushalayim, a move that is sadly lamented by the left-wing, which insists the neighborhood is located next to predominately Jabel Mukaber and therefore it is a provocation.

Interestingly, the so-proclaimed “peace camp” lacks a suitable response to the question why they oppose dual existence, Jews living in the capital aside their Israeli Arab neighbors, but seemingly, they promote a policy of racial discrimination and segregation, somewhat contradictory to their overall liberal views.
