Israel: Firefighter Bitten by Poisonous Snake


A firefighter working a brush fire in the N. Galil was bitten by a Palestinain viper snake on shabbos. The fireman was transported to Ziff Hospital in Tzfat, where he was reported in moderate/stable condition.

Hundreds of hikers and visitors were distanced from the Ein Tina site. It took firefighters about three hours to bring the blaze under control.
