U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz is set to visit Israel in the second week of December for his first official trip since taking office, following an invitation from Israeli Ambassador Danny Danon.

During his visit, Waltz will meet with senior Israeli government and security officials, tour key border areas, and receive briefings on regional security and current international diplomatic developments.

Ambassador Danon will accompany Waltz throughout the visit.
