A NEW HAMAN HAS BEEN CHOSEN: The clerical body tasked with selecting Irans new supreme leader has reached a decision, members say, although the name has yet to be announced.
The vote to appoint the leader has taken place and the leader has been chosen, says Ahmad Alamolhoda, a member of the Assembly of Experts, as quoted by Irans Mehr news agency.
He says the secretariat of the body will announce the name later.
