HATE IN GOLDERS GREEN: Police are investigating a violent assault on a 22-year-old Jewish man in Golders Green, after he was reportedly targeted while speaking Hebrew.

•⁠ ⁠Around 2:00 a.m., the victim stepped outside his building to make a phone call when five masked men allegedly confronted him and asked if he was Jewish.

•⁠ ⁠The attackers reportedly chased him, dragged him across the road, beat and kicked him, shouted abuse in Arabic, and tore his clothes during the assault.

•⁠ ⁠The victim was left bleeding and close to losing consciousness before a neighbor heard the disturbance and called the police.

•⁠ ⁠The suspects fled before officers arrived. The attack comes just weeks after a terrorist attack in which two Jewish men were stabbed, along with other anti-Semitic incidents reported in the area.
