A fifth suspect has been charged in connection with the March arson attack that destroyed four Hatzalah ambulances in London’s Golders Green neighborhood, according to the Metropolitan Police.

Police identified the suspect as 18-year-old Subhan Ahmed of east London, who was charged with assisting an offender. He is the fifth person charged in the case.

The attack occurred at approximately 1:35 a.m. on March 23, when four Hatzalah ambulances were set on fire. Four other suspects previously charged in the case remain in custody pending a trial scheduled for January 2027.
