Mikvah opens in Czech Republic

The Czech Republic’s second mikvah opened in the city of Brno. The mikvah, which opened last week, is in the cellar of a house owned by the Jewish community of Brno, which includes some 600 members.

The community is the second largest Jewish community in the Czech Republic after Prague, where another mikvah is located that dates back several centuries.

The Brno mikvah was just built under the supervision of the community’s rabbi, Moshe Chaim Koller.
