  1. hey – its never too late to enjoy pics – smile & enjoy – dont kvetch
    & besides “a gantz yor purim…”

  2. I agree with Eidel Meidel. Though, I understand the need to brand your pictures, many times it is stamped right on top of the person’s face and hinders proper viewing of the picture. keep up the good work. All the best.

  3. why do people have to complain just say thanks if can do it better do it yourself . if one want to complain its very easy . try and say THANK YOU once in a while .

  4. To truth from london: You are right. Thank you very much YW. By the way I was not complaining, I just figured it would be better for everybody.

  5. Would you guys stop stroking YW all of the time – in case you failed to notice, there are ADVERTISEMENTS on this site, YW is in it for the MONEY.

  6. i am not stroking Y W
VoiceOfReason do you have any idea how much time and money gose in to running this web site .
whats is wrong if YW is making money it seems like you are a bit jelous that someone else is doing something susefull
    gut sabbous to every one

  7. They are not only in it for the money VoiceOfReason the person who runs it wants to ndeliver kosher news to kosher people and they happen to make money but its not only the money.

  8. voice of reason: since when is capitalism bad? should we not speak well of jewish businesses and the owners b/c {{GASP}}} they are in it to make money.

  9. mdlevine/t.f.l.,

Do you write thank you letters to Kedem, Aaron’s, Meal Mart or Bencraft? Probably not. Why you ask? Because you recognize that although they provide a useful, if not essential (in the case of kosher food and wine), service to the Jewish community, there motivation is $$$$.

I believe the same hold true for YW. Hence my point that there is no need to stroke YW’s ego all the time, it is quite nauseating. Use the blog to discuss the issues at hand, not be “mechanaf” YW.

  10. When I receive good service from a store or a particular employee
who is only there for the money) of a store, I do acknowledge it. I even sent letters to Jewish Newspapers to publically thank both a medical provider and local businesses. b/t/w, I if the service is bad, I let the business know also. I do this for non-jewish stores also (usually I go online with my comments).

re: YeshivaWorld, I have sent comments in when I thought that something was printed and should have been edited. go back and read other threads – you will see criticism throughout – the nice thing here is that when a poster makes a valid point YW editor takes corrective action (v.o.r – don’t be offended that I included a nice comment).

    Have a wonderful Shabbos everyone!
