On the night between Monday and Tuesday, 19 Menachem Av, IDF forces operated in el-Eida, located in a PA (Palestinian Authority) area in the Beit Lechem district. The mission involved soldiers from the Shimshon Battalion, who arrested six suspects believed involved in terror attacks at Kever Rochel. These attacks include throwing makeshift explosives, firebombs, and rocks at security forces and mispallalim.

In addition to the six taken into custody, fifteen suspects were taken into custody in the Beit Lechem district in the past two months on suspicion of involvement in acts of terror.
