10:51: A female Arab terrorist tried to stab police on Chaggai Street in the so-called Muslim Quarter of Jerusalems Old City, near Shar Shechem a short time ago.
Bchasdei Hashem police detected the threat in time and fired at the attacker, thereby neutralizing her. She was either seriously wounded or killed. It is unclear from preliminary reports.
There are no reports of injuries among the intended victims, Israel Police.
UPDATE: The attacker was wounded and not killed. She is identified as a 50-year-old Israeli Arab from Um Tuba. The terrorists condition is described as moderate.
11:43: Police officials report the terrorist has died of her injuries.

For the umpteenth time, it’s “Rechov HA’GAI” (Gai = valley), with a “hey.” Not “Rechov CHAGGAI,” with a “ches” named after the Navi Chaggai. This is a street in Geula, not in the Old City.
I guess we could say, All’s well that ends well.
