MORE DETAILS: Massive ‘Atzeres HaMillion’ Rally to Bring Yerushalayim to a Standstill Thursday

Atzeres HaMillion is scheduled to take place this Thursday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

The massive gathering is expected to span a wide area — from the entrance to Jerusalem through Rechov Sarei Yisrael and Malchei Yisrael — with the participation of all leading Admorim and Rabbonim representing every Chareidi community. Organized buses will bring participants from across the country to the capital.

A preliminary planning meeting was held earlier today at the Russian Compound, attended by Jerusalem Deputy Mayor Tzachi Brami, Bnei Brak Deputy Mayor Menachem Shapira, the chief aide to Minister Meir Porush, Shimi Bloi, and community askan Yisrael Wertheimer.

Following the meeting, teams traveled to the Shuafat station area to begin planning crowd control, security arrangements, and traffic routes for the enormous turnout expected.

Additionally, a large site inspection will take place this Tuesday at Jerusalem’s main entrance, with senior police officials and all relevant authorities set to participate in preparations for the historic rally.

  1. May the evil erev rav go down in flames and all those who sympathize with them and call for the disrespect of our holy rabbis

  2. What will be gained by paralysing Jerusalem, making the return home from school and work difficult and shopping for Shabbos impossible? Is this going to gain them support and understanding? They are punishing their own: they are preaching to the choir. Go to secular Tel-Aviv and protest there!

  3. Should we really keep on fighting and protesting against each other, because we don’t want to join our brothers in the defense of our country. We don’t even give a hand in the production of weaponry.
Meanwhile, israel has to give away the west bank, gaza, etc, so as to please our “defenders”.

  4. The Torah World has seperated itself from the rest of Klal Yisroel. Not only did it not share in the tzar of the vast majority of Jews, it didn’t and still doesn’t appreciate the sacrifices of Amcha Yisrael. This Asifa/mass demonstration will only increase the animosity toward frum Yidden and further divide Am Yisrael. I don’t recall any mass Tefila to protect the soldiers and protect the hostages.
