I am so grateful for YWN for providing a kosher news site. But, I was wondering if my fellow Coffee Room readers can help me out. Besides for YWN- where do you get your news from, in addition to YWN? I’m sick of Huffington Post and it’s ultra-liberal news and stupid celeb gossip. I want an accurate, conservative, no nonsense news source with no disgusting images to sort through.
So where do you get your news from?

What kind of news do you want? local, national, world, business, technology etc… Most radio and tv stations have websites. Check the ones you like. I like Drudge. Check out Google news too.
I sometimes go to Al Jazeera.
If there are inappropriate pictures on the other news sites, it is assur diyoraisa to visit them.
Ika darka achrina – there is yeshiva world news.
So why do you feel the need to damage your neshama by visiting those other sites (especially huff post). If you really can’t stop yourself then at least turn off images in your browser before visiting them. End rant.
