Drowning is Chenek, per Mas’ Sanhedrin. By that logic, for those looking for meaning in all this, I assume it is possible that these special yidden are a kaparah for the dor for an aveirah which has the onesh of Chenek. There are quite a few issurim that are punishable with Chenek that should be looked into for teshuvah purposes. V’hamayvin Yavin.

It was a small step for Neil Armstrong (“a man”) to step from the lunar lander to the moon.

It was a giant leap for mankind, as the idea of any human landing on another celestial surface was unimaginable before, and a giant leap in innovation and technology. (Much of the technology we rely on in 2019 was a result of the massive scientific breakthroughs needed to make this happen).

Turx’s message on Tucker Carlson was a major Kiddush Hashem.

The MSM bias is transparent. I was watching CNN and they had a constitutional lawyer saying Trump had every right to make this ban

“A president’s power is at its zenith when his actions line up with Congress.” – Justice Jackson

And, president has broad discretion in foreign affairs, constitutionally.

Needless to say, the other viewpoints tried disputing him, and CNN ended up shutting down the segment and not referencing it later.

Obama made the same exact country shut downs during his admin. and nary a peep.

LU, saying “possibly” to Ivanka’s judaism is itself Lashon Hara.

Among others, R’ Moshe Heinemann gave his approval to Ivanka’s conversion once he looked into it.

At this point she is considered 100% jewish, despite some leniencies in certain halachos that some segments of Orthodoxy follow.

I’d just like to point out that the “party” Ivanka/Jared are attending is a Kosher catered meal with Kosher wine, food, etc. It’s billed as a Shabbos meal party.

Yes seriously. Hashkafos need to be rethought. Mistakes were made by original poster.

I’d recommend seeing a Rav (preferrably a kiruv focused one, like Aish/OhrSameach), internet advice (including mine) isn’t going to get you far, IMO.

    sorry, link removed

Interesting that you should mention Lakewood.

Lakewood gave Trump his highest margin vote in New Jersey. 50% spread between the candidates.

edit: I posted a link to a Nj .com website which had the statistics. Do a google search and you’ll find it.

Ask for Rabbi “Yosef” Lerner’s contact info. (He doesn’t go by Yitzchok, IIRC. His middle name is Yitzchak, first name is Yosef.)

Sorry, don’t have his email address. He only gave out his phone number to the talmidim in his Semicha shiur.

Maybe you could get his email through Mir Yerushalayim? His shiur is given thru Mir.
