How do you explain his post here within the past 24 hours? What did he respond to your email? And YW is a US website, so only US laws apply to content posted here, not Israeli laws. And how could you ever prove he is who you think he is, even if you or someone wanted to risk spending thousands of dollars for lawyers to pursue someone in court, who might not even have money to pay a judgement, should it even go so far that one was ever issued.

How could you possibly know whoever you got into a brawl with elsewhere, is the same guy here? That screen name is as generic as it gets. And he posted here today.

Why did Raban Shimon Ben Yochai, Shammai, Rashi, Rambam, the Chasam Sofer, and the Chofetz Chaim not need an Army?

The zionists, led by the apikorus Ben-Yehuda, created Ivrit as their language for political reasons.

Hi everyone I am a daily reader on the cr but I rarely post. I have been having a difficult year becuase of various circumstances and I started developing different symptoms that led me to a DR who diagnosed me with anxiety. The thing is I guess I was a bit naive and did not realize that anxiety is a disorder I merely thought it was a term for a stressful feeling. I have BH started some medication and I have begun to feel some relief. I am just wondering if anyone else has been in this situation and can shed some light on anxiety and how to get thorugh it.

    thank you

Both words are also English words (originating from, and sharing a meaning with, German.) Otherwise,

    weltanschauung means ideology.

    schadenfreude means glee.

yichusdik: I’m pleased to know you feel yourself wiser than Rav Eliashev shlita and the Gedolei HaDor standing with Rav Eliashev on this. Convince Rav Eliashev he is wrong and you are right, and you’ll convince us all. Until then, we will never compromise.

The MB quotes the Shelah about even a MELODY. And see what I told you the Kuzari says.

Torah defends Klal Yisroel. First we need to work out an arrangement for all the non-Torah learners in Israel to dedicate a few years to full time Torah study. That is Klal Yisroel’s real defense. Only after that arrangement is in effect, can we even discuss removing anyone from the Yeshiva to put them in the Army.

Responsibility to serve in the Beis Medrash. Now that is a real responsibility. Let’s work out the details.

Wrong. Milchemes Mitzvah can only be declared by a Novi.

That’s besides the fact that it is against halacha to merely have a State, let alone be employed in its Army.

The OP is right! Look in the Mishna Brura he mentioned. The Mishna Brurah brings in the name of the Shelah that a woman should not sing a baby to sleep with a non-jewish MELODY, because it can have an affect on the baby’s neshoma.

Music is a very sublime form of expression, and a person’s music is a kind of product of his soul (it says so in the Kuzari). Therefore, even music without words can have an effect on you.

This is true even though the baby cannot understand one word, even if the mother is singing with the words.

Even if you hardly pay attention to the words, that, too, won’t matter. The words are still there, you’re still listening. They still get into your head, and stay there. It is known that even while sleeping, people can listen to instructive tapes and it will make an impression on their minds. To wit: Lack of attention does not negate the effect of the words.

Sam, you think that damage to a child’s neshomo is not possible by certain subtle things that may not be a violation of a direct rule in the book? Or do you think it can happen, but no one is qualified to point out what kinds of things they are? Either way, I assure you what I mentioned is not my own chiddushim but rather the daas Torah of my rebbeim!

The Asifa Rabbonim, like Rav Matisyahu Solomon, Rav Malkiel Kotler, the Skulener Rebbe, Rav Ahron Schechter, etc. etc. etc. do not hold it assur to work in the outside world. B&H, which is Satmar and as Chasidish as they get, and has the support of the Satmar Rebbe, works smack in middle of Manhattan right in the goyishe world.

Singing goyishe tunes to a child can have a very negative effect on the child’s neshomo that might only be recognized when the child is older and its too late!
