i am talking about short over long
i never wore it–i don’t like the look…i also have no interest, my problem is that i am not really sure why i don’t, and i want to hear why others don’t, so maybe 1 idea will click in my head and i will realize that is why i haven’t been wearing it

can i ask a question do you people(very diff crowd on here then there was 8 months ago) really think there is no problem with wearing shortsleeve over long sleeve? i dont like the look of it, i know i seem to be the minority, and i think it says something when you go into a goyish store and have to look for a tzinus shirt ,now it seems people go in and buy whatever shirt they want and if the sleeves are to short, they just put a shell under. i was having a discussion with my friend about this a couple of years ago when the style was just coming around and they said they hated it and would never wear it and guess what? a year later she was wearing it…i dont wear it -i just want to hear everyones opinion on it

sorry to interrupt but could someone find me the some of the tznius threads on here? particularly ones that discuss skirts over pants/leggings and shortsleeves over long sleeves(no there is nothing technaclly wrong with the shortsleeves over long sleeves but was just trying to have a discussion with s/o and wanted to see what the CR had to say on the matter–i tried to start a thread but the mod claimed there was one) thanks because i was just discussing both topics with a few people

i think more then 10 people on the board is not good, bec then its too easy to get on it and every joe shmoo will be on it
so now we should have a certain amount of time (lets say till Sunday night) when every one can vote on who they want on it (lets say everyone gets to pick 5 people) and then we have a vote and the 10 people with the most votes get onto the board

no-i am asking why do you sometimes just delete a thread without even posting it, so the person who tried to start it has no clue where it was talked about previously…….i understand when you post the OP and then close it-while you specificity where to find other threads about the topic I have answered this question now twice. you know why your proposed thread was deleted. closed.
ok -so why do you sometimes not post a thread and sometimes post it and say already discussed (w/ a link) and then close it because the topic that you wanted to start has been covered many times in many threads where you may have already commented. some of these threads have already been closed and others may still be open, if I were to show a link to these threads the same arguments would be brought up again with no benefit to the users and a high cost to the moderators.
why does it take longer for a new thread to appear then for a new post? we do a cost benefit analysis of each new thead proposal. translated to english this means how much cost (grief to the moderators) will this thread bring vs. the benefit to the users. This takes time. Other times, the topic of the proposed thread has been touched upon in several other threads (some of which have been closed – see the first half of this answer) and is no longer going to provide anything new to the users. Additionally, some posts take longer even though the cost benefit analysis is usually quicker, because of the nature and/or length of the post. On the other hand, some posts are introduced to the delete key very quickley because the user decides to post the very same question in more than one thread!
i think once in the past like 12 years 1 missed 1 day!
