She can go to any clinic- they all take insurance..places like Ohel, JBFCS, Interborough etc.
Mommamia- true point. Wolf, can you explain what you mean?
A few horror stories do not reflect on an entire profession. PhDMom, +1!
R’ Bulka has a program with LIU, assuming you are a girl…
She can check out Rabbi Horowitz’s (from Project YES) website, it has some resources listed in terms of programs, schools, and therapists that specialize in dealing with at risk teenagers.
I’m not sure what you mean by a boy’s club, but I can suggest Our Place- it is a drop in center for OTD adolescents. There are also local agencies that can provide therapy, like JBFCS or Ohel.
What kind of help are you looking for?
Great choice and good luck 🙂
Nothing beats chinuch.org!!
Fordham is ranked #18 in US news and world report, while Wurzweiler is ranked #42. Reputation and academic- wise, Fordham is a much better choice. I have also heard that Fordham is understanding of frum Jews because they are a religious college, while Wurzweiler is a little confused….?????? ????.
Don’t give up on Hunter yet…did you have an interview yet?
Thanks! Sounds interesting 🙂
Thank you everyone for your responses…:)
MiddlePath, if you don’t mind sharing…which field you were going to go into and which you alternatively chose? I’m having a similar dilemma right now.February 7, 2012 12:33 am at 12:33 am in reply to: TAKE TEHILLIM HERE – Rav Elyashiv In need of Rachamei Shamayim! #850838

I’ll do 80-89 to complete the 2nd round
What do you want to know about the Bellevue program? I have a close relative who did the program.
Mizrahi, Abadi, Rishty, Safdieh, Beyda, Kassin, Erani
It’s beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
????? is for the right hand, ????? for the left. You cut the left hand’s fingernails (or toenails) first.
(Just to clarify)
It’s a prominent school (though not ivy league) for a social service related field. I just wanted to hear about others’ experiences or observations because I feel like it’s late in the process to be left hanging, when the schools are already starting classes in two months.
It’s not a medical school
The forums discuss fall admissions, while I’m aiming for spring…and they definitely interview.
I’m asking because I need to make certain decisions and I need to know if I even have a chance at this school before I finalize with another one and make future plans.
Thanks for the answers 🙂
C’mon! No one has experience?
mods can you please fix the spelling “disappearing”

True. I saw an ad for it in the 5 towns Jewish times.
I think so. I expand with humidity 🙂
I have a job!
I like haifagirl’s Baguetteria. It sounds fast-food-y.
Also like “BaGrill” from mommamia22, it combines the Baguette part and sounds Israeli.
Droid, from what do you infer that there is internet in this camp? Observanteen doesn’t mention the internet in her post.
For once, let us not be so cynical…it doesn’t matter who said it. It is all true. For all the people out there searching for the meaning behind this terrible tragedy, this makes sense.
I’m saying 110-118 inclusive
I was wondering if anyone could give me more information on both Hunter’s and Wurzweiler’s programs.
Hunter-How is Hunter for a Jewish person? Are they accommodating for Yomim Tovim? Do they place you in field work, or do they allow you to choose an agency/work in a Jewish agency?
Wurzweiler- How much of a scholarship do they give?
