Patur Aval Assur -“The ??? ???? quotes an answer that min hadin a woman does not have to get married at all and “??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ????” is an eitzah tovah.

So to conclude, there are definitely grounds to argue that a woman is not obligated to get married. DaasYochid, the thing that bygirl93 said “correct me if I’m wrong” on was ??? ????, so even if you are right that there is a different obligation, bygirl93 was still correct and therefore you were not actually correcting her for being wrong. However, the lashon you used was “that is not the only reason to get married” which does not necessarily indicate that you think that there is an obligation to get married, but merely a reason to get married. But Health explicitly stated that there is an obligation, so this post is primarily a response to him, pointing out that it’s not so pashut.”

    I know the ??? ???? & it’s a Chiddush; not Pashut P’shat in the S’A!

From the topic that I started:

“Who wants to be a Tzadaikes like Rus?”

    “Health,

moi aussi -“Shulchan Aruch, Even HaEzer 1:13:

“lo teshev isho belo ish shelo techoshed”

a woman should not remain without a husband because of suspicion”

Yes, this is the way we Pasken!

    “Hilchot Issurei Biyah

“shelo yiso zoken yalda shedovor zeh gorem l’znus”

an old man shall not marry a young woman as this will lead to adultery”

Mentioned above previously -it says Yalda -a girl less than 12, not young woman!

    “Yevamot 101b

“k’lech etsel shekmosech ve’al tachnis ketata letoch beisech”

a man shall marry a woman of his age and not bring strife into his home”

This was discussed on page 1 & 2 of this topic! Please read all posts before posting.

    “Hilchot Issurei Biyah 21:26

    “reshus le’isho shelo tinoseh le’olam”

a woman has permission not to ever marry”

The Rambam is a Rishon. We Pasken like the Shulchan Aruch.

    “Reb Akiva Eiger

In a place where there’s no suspicion, a woman has no obligation to marry”

This means a town with No men or just Men whom can’t have kids. In other words bascially an all Women town.

So it comes out a Woman has a CHIYUV to get married!”

Veltz Meshugener -“I am not someone who gets into vehement arguments about vaccines, either pro or anti.”

This I don’t believe! Your whole post sounds very Anti. I’m just gonna address this point about Chicken pox. The other posters have done a good job on the rest of your OP!

“Here are some examples that support what I wrote above:

    2. A similar situation is true of the chicken pox vaccine. I am old enough (and I’m not that old) to remember doctors directing parents to seek out chicken pox for their children. Now there is a vaccine that provides dramatically less protection against chicken pox than the old practice. The vaccine needs to be renewed every fifteen years or so, and therefore makes it more likely that people will get chicken pox as adults, when it is serious, rather than as children, when it’s not.”

Now the Truth from the CDC:

“CDC recommends two doses of chickenpox vaccine for children, adolescents, and adults. Two doses of the vaccine are about 98% effective at preventing chickenpox.”

“The best way to prevent chickenpox is to get the chickenpox vaccine. Children, adolescents, and adults should have two doses of chickenpox vaccine.

Yehuda Goldstein -“but when the OCD behavior is about religious things (as it is with me, according to the opinions that I have it in the first place) there tends to be a good deal of rationality involved.”

If s/o is diagnosed with OCD, then it isn’t rational, even if the OCD pertains to Frumkeit. Usually those that have OCD are put on medicine. When s/o has mental illness – it’s usually a 2-pronged Tx. – Psychiatrist & therapy (Psychologist or Social worker). There are Frum therapists that deal with OCD. This is preferable for a Frum patient!

When s/o has to get arrested or even just has to be questioned, the cop is allowed to restrain him, ie. put him in handcuffs. He knew better, Not to resist!

Unfortunately you are the one who’s changing the facts. I just watched the video a few times. The fact is he denied any wrongdoing from the git-go. The cop wanted to restrain him, but he pushed the cop. What he should have done was gently stuck out his hands to be restrained. Had he resisted arrest, Garner would be facing a potential felony. But fortunately, we have a tape of what occurred. It is clear from the film that Garner did not physically resist officers from arresting him. He was clearly upset at the situation, but did not in any way resist arrest.

Eric Garner did not resist arrest. Watch the video. He in no way physically opposed his arrest.”

You don’t understand American law. Once s/o breaks a law, even if the offense just warrants a ticket, the cop has to issue it. I’m not a lawyer, just in medicine, so I don’t know what level of offense selling loosies is, but let’s assume it’s the lowest level. The cop wants to give him a ticket, but Garner resists. His resisting makes it now a felony. The cop has to arrest him; he can’t just let him go home! And what happened after that is history.

RebYidd23 -“Why should we be happy the cop did what he did?”

Because he did the Rozon (Will) of Hashem!

PBA -“unless I don’t like her”

Why would you go out with a “her”?

Sam2 -“Al Pi Halacha, that was Retzicha.”

ubiquitin -“This is true in halacha as well, to be chayev for killing a blow has to be “kedei lehamisso” able to kill, if the victim had predisposing conditions, it takes less to kill him making them MORE liable for the same action than had they done it to a healthy person”

The problem here is that the US doesn’t keep the 7 Mitzvos Bnai Noach. The posters should be happy that the cop did what he did, instead we have the posts above that it was wrong “Al Pi Halacha”! Whether the Goyim could have him found guilty, but didn’t, it’s great. Even so-called “Frum” Jews, aren’t.
