Unless I will get some benefit from doing so.

Do NOT give a gift. It is a chillul Hashem to give one in violation of halacha.

    Wolf:

A Godol or Posek isn’t consulted for a theoretical halachic issue, which would be a matter of learning not an issue at hand, and thus can be discussed in the CR. A Posek obviously should be consulted – and followed – for an actual shaila of a practical issue at handing needing a determination.

I would be surprised if you mistakenly thought the OP had an actual case that he was presenting to the CR for a final determination.

It depends whether if the surgery is NOT performed, if both can survive attached. There are many known cases of the attached twins living attached for many years. If so, it would seem impermissible to perform surgery that will result in one of the two’s death.

Metro, what you describe is not a heimesha attitude, but rather a general NYC wide attitude.

There is an inyan that only a married person should daven for the amud on the yomim noraim. So there is a legitimate thing about limiting things to only a married person in certain inyanim.

To the poster that calls himself gavra_at_”work”:

Your belief is wrong. The point is academic “modern researchers” cannot declare Rashi’s girsa “incorrect”.

P.S. Rashi’s pshat, is the poshut pshat.

I am Moche on the Kavod of the Rishonim (such as the Ramban) that disagree with Rashi

gavra, what are you hocking in chinik? My quoted comment was made in response to a now edited or deleted comment claiming based on “modern research” Rashi had a bad text of Seder HaOlam. It was not made in reference to any machlokes on Rashi.

PY: You think its okay for you to say that “hey, maybe Mr. Amsalem is greater than Chacham Ovadia Yosef shlit”a, since only the RBS”O knows”, but its not okay to say “hey, maybe Mr. Amsaelm is on the same level as Stephen King, since only the RBS”O knows”?

The fact is semicha means little, it is not the unbroken semicha of yore, anyone can issue such a document or publish a sefer. It is furthermore a fact, that Mr. Amsalem would like to pretend Russian shotzim are Yidden and C”V allow these shkotzim to intermarry with Yidden. Additionally, Mr. Amsalem would like to drag Bnei Torah by their hair out of the Bais Medrash and away from the Torah HaKedosha.

If a pre-1-A kid starts arguing on Einstein’s theory of relativity, and someone tells the kid you’re no scientist and don’t have an inkling of relativity or Einstein, Wolf may yell ad hominem, yet it is a perfectly valid point – ad hominem or not.

PY: Stephen King also wrote seforim. Amsalem’s seforim are no more kosher than King’s. And as you pointed out, only the RBS”O knows who’s bigger between King and Amsalem.
