What I don’t understand about the game is why you have to buy it to play it.
👑RebYidd23ParticipantHealth, absolutely necessary drugs still run the risk of addiction.
👑RebYidd23ParticipantActually, some people make sure their wedding meals are more public.
January 25, 2018 10:53 pm at 10:53 pm in reply to: People with felony records voting: Ken ou Lo? #1457427👑RebYidd23ParticipantI know it’s not a PC thing to say, but literacy requirements would likely stop a large portion of the Hasidic community from being able to vote.
January 25, 2018 4:37 pm at 4:37 pm in reply to: People with felony records voting: Ken ou Lo? #1457324👑RebYidd23ParticipantIf people with felony records are not allowed to return to being full citizens, their position encourages more crime.
👑RebYidd23ParticipantModesty, I think I disagree with you, but I don’t even understand that string of words.
👑RebYidd23ParticipantJakob, that’s an incredibly rude thing to say. It’s like telling someone in a wheelchair that legs are made for walking.
👑RebYidd23ParticipantThe more I think about it, the more I think there needs to be some kind of night shift.
👑RebYidd23ParticipantJoseph, the Torah sets the rules, not men.
👑RebYidd23ParticipantNote that though some of these (such as the ice cream cone or the cowboy boots) are already known to be inadvisable for other reasons, I am only referring to tznius.
January 24, 2018 1:41 pm at 1:41 pm in reply to: Republicans Support Israel; Democrats Do Not #1456303👑RebYidd23ParticipantThe donkey represents Andrew Jackson, who was known to be a donkey and originated the symbol. One of the donkey’s worshipers is Donald Trump.
👑RebYidd23ParticipantThe US is not “on” the metric system, but it uses the metric system.
👑RebYidd23Participant👑RebYidd23ParticipantThe metric system is not science.
January 23, 2018 8:26 pm at 8:26 pm in reply to: Could we have dinosaurs if we wanted them? #1456027👑RebYidd23ParticipantAlso, genetic engineering allows us to play with biology a bit, but it doesn’t let us defy mechanics.
January 23, 2018 8:12 pm at 8:12 pm in reply to: What percentage of off the derech kids/teens/adults return to Yiddishkeit? #1456017👑RebYidd23ParticipantAssuming your belief is that there is no hope for the child to return to the derech, utter rejection is almost certain to create an enemy of the frum community, while setting boundaries in a non-antagonizing way lets you maintain a normal relationship.
January 23, 2018 7:37 pm at 7:37 pm in reply to: Could we have dinosaurs if we wanted them? #1456012👑RebYidd23ParticipantDovidBT, the part where it mistakes us for giant worms.
January 23, 2018 5:31 pm at 5:31 pm in reply to: Could we have dinosaurs if we wanted them? #1455954👑RebYidd23ParticipantBecause those are more useful but also less fun.
👑RebYidd23ParticipantThis is why I’m anti marriage.
👑RebYidd23ParticipantThat’s just a sneak peak to a link.
👑RebYidd23ParticipantReally? Google never talks to me. For me it just links to other sites.
👑RebYidd23ParticipantIf you really don’t know why blackface is offensive, GIYF.
👑RebYidd23ParticipantRebYidd23 costumes are not only acceptable but welcomed. I’d love to see some RebYidd23s this Purim. A nice RebYidd23 costume consists of a RebYidd23 shirt and a crown.
January 22, 2018 3:02 pm at 3:02 pm in reply to: President Donald Trump, Oheiv Yisroel Par Excellence #1454927👑RebYidd23ParticipantCommuting unfair sentences should be considered the bare minimum. All previous presidents were simply bad people for neglecting it.
January 22, 2018 2:47 pm at 2:47 pm in reply to: Could we have dinosaurs if we wanted them? #1454663👑RebYidd23ParticipantNo, just as matchbox cars are not cars, plastic dinosaurs, as delightful as they are, are not dinosaurs.
👑RebYidd23ParticipantSo if my own opinions happen to overlap with “political correctness”, I have to just do the offensive thing? You sound like a total Jew.
👑RebYidd23ParticipantSo iacisrmma, it’s okay if children wear blackface?
👑RebYidd23ParticipantWe just let him think that. Nobody can convince him otherwise, and the doctors said he has to come out of it on his own.
January 21, 2018 7:53 pm at 7:53 pm in reply to: Could we have dinosaurs if we wanted them? #1454132👑RebYidd23ParticipantIs there any dinosaur DNA left anyway (excluding avocado dinosaurs)?
January 21, 2018 8:44 am at 8:44 am in reply to: Could we have dinosaurs if we wanted them? #1453336👑RebYidd23ParticipantBut what if we are supposed to make dinosaurs the same way we made cars?
January 21, 2018 12:59 am at 12:59 am in reply to: Could we have dinosaurs if we wanted them? #1453315👑RebYidd23ParticipantWe can’t resurrect the dinosaurs, but perhaps we could make new ones with the creative freedom granted to us by the lack of details about what dinosaurs are like. And a bird is a dinosaur like an avocado is a berry.
January 20, 2018 10:07 pm at 10:07 pm in reply to: Could we have dinosaurs if we wanted them? #1453285👑RebYidd23ParticipantBy the way, even if you don’t believe chickens evolved from dinosaurs, you should at least consider that they were domesticated from red junglefowl, and so the egg came first.
👑RebYidd23ParticipantAccent varies by geographical location.
January 20, 2018 8:47 pm at 8:47 pm in reply to: Could we have dinosaurs if we wanted them? #1453221👑RebYidd23ParticipantCurious, are you sure no one would say that?
January 20, 2018 8:47 pm at 8:47 pm in reply to: Could we have dinosaurs if we wanted them? #1453222👑RebYidd23ParticipantAvram, just because they’re scary doesn’t mean they’re fun. Much of the fun comes from the idea that the dinosaurs are huge. The largest birds that are known to have walked the planet as the same time as humans are extinct too.
Apatosaurus pot roast sounds like a delicious dish that we can’t eat because we keep kosher.January 19, 2018 3:16 pm at 3:16 pm in reply to: Buying Chinese auction tickets with maaser money #1453117👑RebYidd23ParticipantChinese checkers and Chinese apples are also just called that because it was once in fashion.
January 19, 2018 3:15 pm at 3:15 pm in reply to: Could we have dinosaurs if we wanted them? #1453111👑RebYidd23ParticipantAvram, those don’t count. Everyone know what it means to bring dinosaurs to life: the fun, exciting ones. Like T-Rex and Triceratops. Not the boring ones like the dodo.
If we brought the dinosaurs into existence based on existing skeletons but using genetic engineering and imagination instead of actual dinosaur DNA, they don’t have to be “authentic”. They just have to have similar bone structure and leave similar footprints. Maybe we can give them long floppy dog ears.
For non-kosher customers, we can make dinosaur meat into little chicken-shaped nuggets.January 19, 2018 3:14 pm at 3:14 pm in reply to: What percentage of off the derech kids/teens/adults return to Yiddishkeit? #1453116👑RebYidd23ParticipantThere is a difference between accepting your child as a person and tolerating unacceptable behavior.
January 19, 2018 2:57 pm at 2:57 pm in reply to: Closing of the PETA Thread: Your Views On the Matter #1453113👑RebYidd23ParticipantI didn’t know evolutionists started believing that species evolved by acquiring Internet access.
January 19, 2018 12:06 pm at 12:06 pm in reply to: Closing of the PETA Thread: Your Views On the Matter #1453049👑RebYidd23ParticipantHow would you respond to the theory that the CR has swung to the right because people on the right have arrived at the Internet?
January 18, 2018 11:05 pm at 11:05 pm in reply to: What percentage of off the derech kids/teens/adults return to Yiddishkeit? #1452702👑RebYidd23ParticipantTakes2,
Maybe you should learn to read before you spew your hatred towards the OTD world.
Maybe you should learn to write before you accuse people of not knowing how to read.
January 18, 2018 2:48 am at 2:48 am in reply to: Closing of the PETA Thread: Your Views On the Matter #1451867👑RebYidd23ParticipantI think PETA is bad, so it’s ridiculous that it the topic has to be drawn out by people defending them.
January 17, 2018 11:51 pm at 11:51 pm in reply to: What percentage of off the derech kids/teens/adults return to Yiddishkeit? #1451864👑RebYidd23ParticipantIt took me this long to figure out what “taking a pole” meant. I was imagining someone literally taking a pole.
👑RebYidd23ParticipantYeah, but all those things belong to corporations that control our lives.
January 17, 2018 7:11 pm at 7:11 pm in reply to: What percentage of off the derech kids/teens/adults return to Yiddishkeit? #1451784👑RebYidd23ParticipantJoseph, the same reason we give greater tolerance to storms at sea than storms on land.
January 17, 2018 2:54 pm at 2:54 pm in reply to: What percentage of off the derech kids/teens/adults return to Yiddishkeit? #1451707👑RebYidd23ParticipantHumans are mortal.
January 17, 2018 10:28 am at 10:28 am in reply to: What percentage of off the derech kids/teens/adults return to Yiddishkeit? #1451488👑RebYidd23ParticipantMaybe because people don’t end up murdered or robbed?
January 17, 2018 7:35 am at 7:35 am in reply to: Kallah Taking Chosson’s Last Name Upon Marriage- Jewish or Gentile? #1451378👑RebYidd23ParticipantHow would you call someone by their last name to belittle them?
January 17, 2018 1:49 am at 1:49 am in reply to: What percentage of off the derech kids/teens/adults return to Yiddishkeit? #1451345👑RebYidd23ParticipantSome would say that it’s valuable to maintain a positive relationship even if you don’t think they’ll become frum.
January 16, 2018 9:25 pm at 9:25 pm in reply to: Kallah Taking Chosson’s Last Name Upon Marriage- Jewish or Gentile? #1451274👑RebYidd23ParticipantThat’s not a name change, it’s the addition of a new title.
